Iniya wants to concentrate more on her career in Kollywood

Iniya, who was last spotted in Kollywood in Karai Oram last November, is essaying one of the seven heroines in an upcoming film titled as Thiraikku Varadha Kathai. She, however, doesn’t feel bad about it.
Born as Shruti Sawant, she got Iniya as her on-screen name. After appearing in small roles in a couple of films, she got a powerful role in Sarkunam’s national-award winning film Vaagai Sooda Vaa and continud to juggle her career in Malayalam and Tamil films. She also forayed into Kannada and Telugu film industries briefly. Though she hasn’t had a release in Tamil for an year, she is busy with many projects.
Kaadhal Solla Neram Illai, Vaigai Express, Pottu and Rendavadhu Padam are in various stages of production and she is confident that she would be making a huge comeback once these films are released. “I agree that I haven’t been having regular releases in Tamil; howver, I have managed to create my own space in Mollywood. As I debuted as a heroine in Tamil films, I have always wanted to make it big in Tamil films.
